When selecting a contractor to install your heat pump, it is important to note that preferred contractors are held to a higher standard than none preferred contractors. This means that they can offer better warranties on both parts and labor, and can easily access the parts needed for your unit.

It’s important to note when choosing your contractor that warranties are invalidated if anyone not certified installs or works on a heat pump.
